THE BRIEF

Gloucester City Council’s Microsoft renewal was approaching, and their incumbent supplier managed their MS estate via an EA agreement. After several years of providing added value with hardware and software, ACS IT Services was given the opportunity to step in. Through multiple meetings with ACS, it became evident that the existing EA agreement was too rigid and lacked the flexibility needed to manage their MS estate effectively.

OUR APPROACH

ACS employed a consultative approach, thoroughly reviewing the estate for Gloucester City Council’s circa 450 users including Microsoft Teams licenses and Azure workplace services.

Rather than simply renewing the existing setup, IT Account Manager, Tom, worked closely with the council to suggest reducing the number of licenses, tailoring the solution to better fit their actual needs.
